Team Leader (Gas - Tenant Safety Team Housing Services) — Waverley Court
Salary: £46,023 - £54,476
Hours: 36 per week, 52 weeks
We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced individual to join the Council's Tenant Safety team as a Gas Team Leader. This role involves leading a team of gas engineers within the Housing Service, ensuring the Council is fully compliant with statutory responsibilities and putting tenants' safety at the heart of everything you do. You will have strong leadership skills and experience of leading and managing others, with the ability to manage workloads, direct resources, prioritise tasks, drive performance and develop your team. You will work flexibly and collaboratively, providing professional advice and guidance from your experience and expertise. You will be suitably qualified to competently manage a gas team.

Responsibilities
* Lead and manage a team of gas engineers within the Tenant Safety team, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and prioritising tenants’ safety.
* Direct workloads, allocate resources, prioritise tasks, drive performance, and develop team capability.
* Provide professional advice and guidance based on experience and expertise; work collaboratively with colleagues across Housing Services.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Suitable qualification to competently manage a gas team.
* Strong leadership skills with experience in managing others in a busy environment.
* Ability to manage workloads, direct resources, prioritise tasks, and drive performance.
