Cyber Security / Network Security Coach Industry OR Cyber, Forensic Grads Welcome To work within our Work Based Learning Apprenticeship Programme for 16-24 year old learners. About The Role Our Cyber Security Assessor / Coach role involves you visiting cyber security apprentices and their managers in the workplace, carrying out assessments and reviews of progress to ensure the students are working towards the completion of apprenticeship programmes. You will be required to coach and mentor young adults aged between 16-24, therefore a desire to help, mentor and support others is essential to the role. You will have excellent customer facing, interpersonal and communication skills, along with the ability to work independently. As the Cyber Security / Network Security Assessor & Coach you will be based in London area, you will have excellent customer facing, interpersonal and communication skills, along with the ability to work independently. About The Person To plan and complete assessments for learners engaged on Apprenticeships for subject areas around Cyber Security. To coach, mentor and assess groups of young adults towards the achievement of a vocational Apprenticeship programme. To assess all components of the above framework for a caseload of learners. To retain learners engaged on the programme and manage their learning and achievement in line with the targets and objectives agreed in their Individual Learning Plan. Your Skills & Experience A Degree, Higher Education Qualification in Information Security or a related discipline or significant industry experience in areas to be assessed is essential A willingness to gain Assessor Award within 3 months of commencing employment. Technical Knowledge & Skills, to include at least one from: Network Security Secure Communications Information Assurance Cyber Security Digital Forensics Excellent communication skills. Ability to identify individual learner needs. Ability to provide feedback in a way that motivates individual learners.
