Practice Marketing Executive - 12 Month FTC
We are seeking a proactive and detail focussed Marketing Executive on a 12 month fixed term contract, to support our Small Animal veterinary practices at a local level. This role will work closely with our Operations team, Practice Managers and clinical teams to plan and deliver effective local marketing initiatives that drives client and patient growth, retention, and engagement.
The successful candidate will act as a trusted marketing partner to practices, planning and project managing marketing activities and ensuring brand alignment while tailoring plans to the local requirements of the practice.
Key Responsibilities
Practice Marketing Support
* Support practices with the development of locally targeted marketing plans.
* Provide support with the implementation of activities across digital and offline channels.
* Advise practices on client acquisition, retention, and community engagement strategies.
* Ensure brand consistency across all practice communications and touchpoints.
Campaign Management
* Plan, coordinate, and deliver marketing activities as practices need them such as changes in service, new service launches, new openings, to increase awareness, engagement and patient numbers
* Manage the delivery of assets by co-ordinating with other central and external teams including email, social media, website content, print materials, and in-practice POS.
* Track campaign performance and provide insights and recommendations for optimisation.
Digital & Content
* Support social media planning and content creation aligned with brand guidelines.
* Work with the web team to ensure practice website content (services, team bios, blogs) is updated and optimised in a timely manner.
* Work with the PPC team to ensure appropriate PPC activity to support practice growth
* Monitor online reviews and reputation management, advising practices on best practice responses.
Data & Reporting
* Analyse key marketing KPIs including new client registrations, campaign ROI, website traffic, and engagement metrics.
* Produce clear monthly performance reports for practices and internal stakeholders.
* Use data insights to inform continuous improvement of marketing activity.
Stakeholder Engagement
* Build strong working relationships with Practice Managers, Clinical Directors, regional Business Development Directors and internal support teams.
* Deliver marketing guidance and training to practice teams as part of the Monthly Practice Marketing meeting
* Act as a liaison between practices and the wider marketing team as necessary
Skills & Experience
Essential:
* 2+ years' experience in a marketing role (multi-site or local marketing experience desirable).
* Strong understanding of digital and offline marketing channels
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
* Commercial awareness and data-driven mindset.
Desirable:
* Experience supporting multi-location businesses.
* Knowledge of the veterinary, healthcare, or pet care sector.
* Familiarity with CRM systems and marketing automation platforms.
