We are currently seeking an experienced Facade Manager to join a new build commercial development project. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile scheme, overseeing the delivery of complex unitised cladding packages from installation through to completion.
Responsibilities
* Managing and overseeing the installation of unitised facade and cladding systems on site
* Coordinating with main contractor, subcontractors, and design teams to ensure smooth delivery
* Monitoring quality, compliance, and workmanship in line with project specifications
* Ensuring all works are carried out in accordance with health & safety regulations
* Reviewing technical drawings, specifications, and installation details
* Identifying and resolving any on‑site issues relating to facade systems
* Tracking progress against programme and reporting to senior management
* Conducting inspections and signing off completed works
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Facade Manager on commercial construction projects
* Strong knowledge of unitised curtain walling and cladding systems
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Strong understanding of health & safety regulations within construction
* SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold), and First Aid certification essential
Compensation & Engagement
This Facade Manager position is being offered on a freelance basis for approximately 17 weeks. Day rate is negotiable.
