Audit Semi Senior - Role Overview
We are seeking an Audit Semi Senior to join our Audit team and support the delivery of high-quality audit services to a diverse portfolio of clients. The role involves hands-on audit work, client relationship management, and supporting junior team members, while progressing toward professional qualification.
Key Responsibilities
Audit Delivery
1. Participate in audit planning meetings and contribute to risk assessment discussions.
2. Prepare or delegate key audit tasks in line with agreed budgets and internal quality standards.
3. Liaise with Audit Seniors or Assistant Managers on complex or high-risk areas.
4. Monitor progress of assigned work and maintain proactive communication with clients and internal stakeholders.
5. Prepare audit file sections including (but not limited to):
* Audit programmes
* Sampling documentation
* Debtors/sales and creditors
* Bank reconciliations
* P&L reviews
* Wages and payroll
* Stock (non-complex)
* Investments
* Fixed assets
* VAT
* Opening balances
* System notes
* Use of data analytics
