About the Company

A Luxury 5 Star Salon are seeking a proactive and highly competent Head Receptionist to manage all front of house duties and manage a team of stylists and beauty therapists. Ensuring smooth, organised, operational excellence throughout the salon.

About the Role

Benefits include:

Responsibilities

* Overseeing the day-to-day running of the salon, including front of house, reception, and overall operations.
* Ensuring every client receives a VIP experience, delivered with the highest level of care and professionalism.
* Managing the front-of-house team, including receptionists, stylists, beauty therapists, and junior staff.
* Coordinating closely with stylists and beauty therapists to maintain an accurate and efficiently managed appointment diary.
* Supervising the reception team to consistently deliver exceptional customer service.
* Handling all email and telephone enquiries promptly and professionally.
* Maintaining strong product knowledge to enhance client services and maximise retail opportunities.
* Liaising with suppliers and making full use of promotional offers and special deals.
* Monitoring and managing stock levels, placing orders as required while minimising waste.
* Ensuring the salon is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation at all times.
* Managing daily cashing-up procedures and banking in the absence of the receptionist.
* Overseeing salon maintenance requirements and coordinating necessary repairs.
* Ensuring full compliance with all health and safety regulations.
* Reporting to Directors regarding staff matters and operational concerns.

Qualifications

* At least 5 years’ experience held as a Senior Receptionist or Salon Manager

Required Skills

* Outstanding communication and organisational skills, demonstrating integrity
* A positive team player with the ability to manage and supervise staff
* Familiar with software systems and spreadsheets
* Pro-active, able to multi-task and work well under pressure
