Location: Sutton, LondonHours: 12 hours per week (Part-Time) About the Role A specialist education provider based in Sutton, London is seeking a Part-Time Tutor with a Sports specialism who is also confident teaching Maths. This is a fantastic opportunity to support learners in a supportive and inclusive learning environment while helping them develop both practical and academic skills. The successful candidate will deliver engaging sessions that combine sport-related learning with essential maths skills, helping students build confidence, improve their understanding, and progress in their education. Key Responsibilities •Deliver engaging sports-focused learning sessions to students. •Teach and support learners in Maths, adapting lessons to suit different abilities. •Plan and prepare lessons that support both academic and practical development. •Monitor and record student progress. •Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff to provide a positive learning environment. •Encourage participation, confidence, and personal development among learners. The Ideal Candidate Will Have •Experience teaching or tutoring Sport and/or Physical Education. •The ability to teach Maths to a functional or foundation level. •A recognised teaching, coaching, or tutoring qualification (or relevant experience). •Strong communication and motivational skills. •A supportive and adaptable approach to working with learners.
