As a Senior Technician, your responsibilities will include a wide range of tasks. To succeed, you will need to:
* Confidently interact with external contractors: Coordinate repairs seamlessly.

* Assist the management team: Maintain equipment and facilities to keep stores operational.
* Minimize customer disruption: Coordinate repairs with minimal impact on customers.
Additional responsibilities include:
* Drive service standards and represent the Tesco brand.
* Oversee workflow to prioritize repairs using CMMS.
* Ensure completion of safe and legal audits.
* Carry out all PPMs within set timeframes and implement recommendations, ensuring compliance with L8, LOLER, and PUWER standards.
* Maintain high asset availability through pragmatic approaches.
* Liaise with stakeholders regarding faulty equipment affecting operations.
* Proactively manage pest control compliance.
* Coordinate and assure contractor work on-site, manage parts inventory cost-effectively.
* Continuously improve SSOW/SOPs.
* Handle ad hoc requests as instructed by line managers, including multi-site responsibilities.
* Follow the Business Code of Conduct, acting with integrity and due diligence.
You will need
As a key part of our maintenance team, you should demonstrate enthusiasm for high standards. Previous experience in maintenance, engineering, or construction is essential, along with digital confidence to use tablets for work schedules and emails.
