Pay rate starts from £14.18 an hour. Additional payments may apply depending on location.
Minimum guaranteed hours: 16 per week, with flexible options down to 12 hours.
Responsibilities
- Ensure van and trays are clean and organized.
- Maintain the back yard tidy and rid of rubbish.
- Wash trays as part of the tray wash process.
- Load van, check roadworthiness, and prepare for delivery.
- Communicate with customers about changes, substitutions or refunds.
- Handle products with care, treating them as your own.
- Deliver within the scheduled time slots.
- Contact customers before arriving if early; call the store if running 30+ minutes late.
- Build team spirit with colleagues and foster a welcoming environment.
- Respond quickly to changing customer needs and adapt to new situations.
- Share improvement ideas with managers and peers.
Qualifications
- A valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence (Full or Automatic) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points.
- Good communication skills and a friendly, customer‑focused attitude.
- Physical fitness to lift and move goods safely.
