Job title: Experienced Autism Support Worker
Location: Sutton Coldfield
Salary: £12.31 Per hour
Contract: Permanent 37.5 hours per week NOT OPEN TO SPONSORSHIP
Essential: Experience in an Autism Support setting and managing challenging Behaviour is essential
Shifts: Day shifts 7.30am & 3pm pm including weekend work.
This service supports Adults with behaviours that may be of concern so experience in this area is essential

Service
Vermont House is a bespoke Residential Service designed to support up to six autistic adults, or those with learning disabilities and associated needs, to develop the skills and confidence necessary to lead a more independent life.

Support Worker duties:
* Supporting residents to develop independence and life skills
* Assisting people to achieve daily goals & daily activities such as arts, crafts, hobbies
* Assisting with the development of person centred plans for our residents
* This includes employment, education and other opportunities
* Maintaining records and drawing up risk assessments
* Providing personal care where needed always working towards more independence
* Supporting people in undertaking daily activities or development
