2. Partner closely with designers, researchers, product managers and engineers to ship impactful work you’re proud of
3. Use feedback and user testing results to iterate effectively
4. Elevate content quality, defining what good looks like with your teams and providing guidance to non-writers, where necessary
5. Work with legal and regulatory teams to make sure content you write is compliant with industry standards and regulations, where necessary
6. Contribute to the evolution of content standards at Depop, including writing guidelines and content design best practices
Requirements
7. You have a strong portfolio demonstrating your ability to write clear and engaging content for a variety of digital products and platforms
8. Strong experience as a UX Writer/Content Designer
9. Experience writing for a US audience, or localising your content
10. You’re able to balance key user needs with business objectives
11. You have a strong understanding of UX design principles and how content influences user behaviour and interaction
12. You’re able to justify your copy decisions with user research, competitor research or UX best practices
13. You have excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively individually and as part of particular squads where necessary
14. You have strong organisational skills and thrive in an environment that requires you to manage multiple projects, with several teams, simultaneously
15. You’re proficient in Figma and know when AI can and can’t help you produce your best work
Heads up, this role probably isn’t for you if:
16. Your experience is mostly in marketing content, advertising, copywriting or journalism – and you have no hands-on experience of content design or working in UX
