Were currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a growing and forward-thinking Occupational Health provider, who are looking for an experienced Occupational Health Nurse to join their team based in Greater Manchester. This is a full-time, permanent position combining clinic-based work with regular travel to client sites using a fully equipped mobile medical unit, ideal for someone who enjoys a varied and hands-on role.Role Overview: You will work collaboratively with the clinical team to deliver a full range of Occupational Health services to a diverse client base. This role involves both clinic and on-site work, with travel forming a key part of your responsibilities (paid within working hours).Key duties include:
* Case management assessments and management referrals
* Health surveillance (spirometry, audiometry, HAVS)
* Administering vaccinations in line with the Green Book
* Drug and alcohol screening
* DSE and workplace health assessments
* Delivering wellbeing clinics and health promotion initiatives
* Making autonomous clinical decisions and referrals
* Managing medical stock, vaccines, and equipment safely
* Maintaining accurate clinical records and ensuring GDPR compliance
* Supporting junior staff and contributing to team development
* Participating in internal meetings and service improvement
You will also be responsible for travelling to client sites, operating a mobile medical unit, and delivering high-quality, evidence-based care in a variety of workplace settings.Person Specification:
* Registered Nurse (NMC)
* Minimum 2 years Occupational Health experience
* Competent in spirometry, audiometry, HAVS, phlebotomy, and vaccinations
* Full, clean UK driving licence
* Willingness to travel regularly to client sites
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
* Experience implementing clinical protocols and guidelines
