Job Title: Style Advisor - 32 hours (4 days) - Edinburgh

Reporting to: Store Manager

Location: Edinburgh

Contract Type: 32 hours per week (4 days)

About The Role

This role requires the successful candidate to travel to ME+EM stores. Candidates must have the flexibility to work across 7 days a week, with 8 hour shift patterns. The ME+EM Style Advisor is responsible for delivering an authentic and memorable service approach. You will work well in a dynamic team environment, be a clear communicator, able to multitask and adapt to high and low traffic patterns.


About You

* Experience working in a fast paced, high volume environment
* Have a genuine passion for fashion and providing outstanding customer service
* Able to provide successful references of relevant experience in Fashion, Service or Hospitality
* Community driver and relationship builder
* Confident, personable and supportive


Your Responsibilities

* Provide the best experience through speed and accuracy.
* Represent the brand at all times by following the company dress code.
* Continually improve product knowledge and research products online.
* Assist customers by suggesting alternatives or fulfilling product requests either within another store or online.
* Promote a one business mindset.
* Build organic and long-lasting relationships with customers.
* Carry out personal styling sessions with confidence.
* Style, outfit building and recommendations.
* Escalate customer complaints to the management team.
* Be aware of opening and closing duties and provide support when necessary.
* Be confident with till functions; process transactions, refunds and telephone orders confidentially.
* Embrace change and support the rollout of new systems.
* Understand the importance of data collection and ensure GDPR compliance.
* Maintain a high level of telephone etiquette.
* Maintain store visual merchandising standards.
* Replenish stock and keep the shop floor clean and tidy.
* Assist with deliveries and stock recalls.
* Be responsible for own H&S and ensure H&S processes are followed in store.
