Description The Anglian Water Strategic Pipeline Alliance (SPA) project currently involves the planning, design and construction of circa 320km of new strategic, large diameter, clean water interconnector pipelines and associated infrastructure across Anglian Water’s region. The SPA Alliance is also taking on responsibility for the future interconnector pipelines, a further 260km of strategic interconnector pipelines and associated infrastructure. Flexible work from Peterborough office, however mainly remotely based on-site at SPA compound offices LI-KP1 Responsibilities Key contact for all landowners / farmers / tenants for the duration of the project Undertake discussions with the landowner regarding the impact that the project will have on their business and farming regimes and ensure that the project team and Lands agents are aware for construction timings and compensation matters Responsible for coordinating all Pre-Entry assessments/ surveys on the land and collating additional information provided by the landowners / farmers Liaise with stakeholders regarding land and land drainage matters and assist the project team and land drainage consultant with the post construction drainage design Carry out pre-entry and access agreements throughout the project with landowners in conjunction with the Lands team and site teams Discuss accommodation works with landowners – e.g water troughs for stock, irrigation pipework, fencing etc Responsible for the communication with the landowner regarding soil management, advising on any potential risks and ensuring protective provisions are implemented Will advise the project team of any potential issues in a proactive manner During construction, maintaining engagement with the landowners and project team about construction matters and project requirements Undertake site inspections during construction to monitor working practices are compliant to SPA working practices and their obligations to the Landowner Will ensure that the reinstatement works are agreed with the project team and landowner following completion of works Will be responsible for the coordination of the required tasks to close out the project and to ensure minimal impact on the landowner Knowledge, Skills and Experience Experience in Contaminated Land ,Statutory Nuisance, Waste Management, Ecology, Incident investigation, Environmental permitting, licencing and consenting applications and requirements and Construction Knowledge of key environmental legislation Data analysis and interpretation experience Member of a relevant professional body Direct experience with environmental regulators Good verbal, written communication, organisational and Negotiation skills Problem solving skills and conflict resolution Document production abilities using various software inc., excel, word, GIS, PowerPoint. Qualifications Educated to degree level in environmental related subject Member of a relevant professional body Current UK driving licence
