We have an opportunity for a Rehabilitation Assistant to join their team of staff in the Physiotherapy department. This is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern. Duties of this role include: Work collaboratively with nursing, physiotherapy, and occupational therapy teams to deliver rehabilitation programmes tailored to individual patient needs. Assist with mobility and positioning, including the safe use of hoists and mobility aids. Help patients engage in purposeful activities that promote cognitive, physical, social, and emotional recovery. Act as a key worker for assigned patients, advocating for their needs and ensuring consistent delivery of care plans. Maintain a safe, clean, and well-prepared therapeutic environment by contributing to housekeeping and equipment checks. Take responsibility for your own learning through active participation in supervision, training, and appraisal processes. Applicants should meet the following criteria: Diploma/Degree in a Sport Related subject and relevant experience working in a MSK Rehabilitation setting. OR Level 2/3 gym/instructor/personal trainer or level 3 exercise referral/level 4 qualification/equivalent with experience delivering groups sessions. OR Experience of working as part of a Physiotherapy team or within the fitness industry. At least 150 hours previous experience of working with specialist populations, for example exercise referral, cardiac, back care, falls etc. Full UK driving license.
