They looking for a dedicated and driven warehouse operative who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about being part of a team, improving processes, and delivering results.
Key Responsibilities:
* Unloading deliveries from suppliers or couriers
* Checking goods against delivery notes or invoices
* Properly labelling and storing stock in the correct locations
* Using stock rotation (FIFO/LIFO) methods where applicable
* Accurately selecting items from storage based on order lists
* Packing goods securely and labelling them correctly for dispatch
* Conducting regular stock checks and reporting discrepancies
* Updating inventory systems (manually or via software)
* Preparing orders for shipment
* Loading delivery vehicles safely and efficiently
* Using forklifts, pallet jacks, scanners, etc. (if trained/certified)
* Following health and safety guidelines during operations
About You:
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a Warehouse Operative role
* Strong understanding of warehouse procedures and best practices
* Proficient in inventory management and control systems
* Valid driver's licence and forklift operating certification is highly sought after
* Comfortable using warehouse software and general computer applications
* Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
* Ability to multitask, solve problems, and stay calm under pressure
* Strong interpersonal and team-building skills
* Flexible and available to work extended hours when required
