We’re looking for a detail-oriented individual to join a South Yorkshire finance team, supporting a range of routine financial tasks including invoice processing, ledger maintenance, and general record-keeping.
This role involves being a key contact for internal staff, clients, and vendorsregarding financial matters, while also overseeing specific areas of the department’s operations. You’ll collaborate closely with the management accountant and finance director to ensure financial data is recorded accurately and submitted on time.
Your new role
1. Handling iing and outgoing invoices and credit notes
2. municating with suppliers to resolve queries efficiently
3. Reconciling statements from both customers and suppliers
4. Coordinating regular and ad hoc payment runs
5. Managing bank transactions and reconciliations
6. Overseeing cashflow, petty cash, andpany credit card usage
7. Contributing to the preparation of monthly financial reports
8. Supporting other delegated finance tasks as needed
What you'll need to succeed
You must be confident with the use of SAP and other financial systems
Confident with the use of Excel
Studying orpleting an AAT qualification
Strongmunication skills and the ability to build relationships across the business
Ability to support the Finance Manager and work confidently across various finance tasks
