We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as the Asset & Facilities Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals to support the full implementation, adoption, and effectiveness of the resource planning processes and drive the associated metrics for business performance improvement.
Location: Aberdeen, The United Kingdom with occasional national & international travel.
Key Responsibilities:
o Monitors completeness and availability of equipment units for issuance
o Ensure that all equipment is duly calibrated
o Ensure that all equipment is working prior to issuance
o Ensure that all damage/faulty equipment are sent to supplier/manufacturer for repair with relevant paperwork raised
o Ensure as much as possible to have enough stocks of units for upcoming jobs
o Maintaining the Asset Management System, ensuring it is kept in date and live.
o In charge on liaising with the supplier/ or manufacturer for new or additional orders/ requirements
o In charge of preparing requisitions once quote is approved
o In charge of preparing kit boxes/ rope access set/ NDT kit etc. for shipment to clients or to other OES branches.
o PPE (Rope Access) related work and Inspections (Training can be provided)
o Working with, and understanding, International Freight agents, couriers and customs.
o Co-ordinate with operations management and staff and assist with all operations activities as required, providing support to operations department
o Ensuing all safety policies are followed both onsite and around the office and warehouse.
o Responds to emergency situations and emails in a timely manner with follow up
o Personally performs a variety of skill maintenance work, as required
o Coordinates and maintains communication and cooperative working relationship with regional equipment coordinators, clients, Ops teams and Freight forwarders alike
o Consults with leadership on policies, procedures, rules, regulations and practices relating to safety efficiency and streamline paperwork
o Ensuring cost effectiveness on all fronts
o Working with the QHSE Coordinator responsible for HSE and Quality Management System compliance
o Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
* Previous working experience as an equipment or asset coordinator in Oil and Gas industry is preferred.
* Experience with ISO 17020 preferred, but not essential.
* Strong organizational and communication skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
* Detail-oriented with a commitment to ensuring safety and compliance.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and intermediate computer skills as minimum
