We're on the lookout for a passionate and proactive person to join our Health team as a Volunteer Coordinator. If you're someone who thrives on enthusiasm, can bringing people together, and loves to inspire and guide, then this is the role for you!

You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient process is followed within the hospitals and communities that we support.

What will a day in the life of a Service Coordinator look like? You'll be:

1. Responsible for building strong positive relationships with your volunteers, your team and stakeholders.
2. Attending external events to promote volunteering and build on relationships.
3. Managing a team of volunteers by being their ‘go to’ person.
4. Working with the team to increase and grow the number of volunteers within service.
5. Evaluating and analysing the data and outcomes of the service
6. Assigning incoming referrals to volunteers.
7. Monitoring the service delivery, ensuring health and safety and evaluating our progress.
8. Overseeing record-keeping and recruitment.

To be a successful Service Coordinator, you’ll need:

9. To be IT literate.
10. Understanding of how to improve service quality for the benefit of users.
11. Full UK driving licence holder and access to vehicle.
12. Willingness to work flexible hours to support volunteers, attend events or support others in the team.
13. Ability to deal with queries in a diplomatic, professional and confidential manner.
14. An understanding of how to improve service quality for the benefit of the people we support.
