This is a brand-new role for Browne Jacobson and is responsible for creating and implementing strategies that enhance the employee experience. We are seeking an experienced Employee Engagement Manager to join our dynamic team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will play a pivotal role in creating, managing, and delivering internal engagement plans, ensuring our people feel informed, engaged, and aligned with our business strategy. What does the role actually involve? Help define and articulate a compelling and coherent Browne Jacobson employer value proposition (EVP) Develop and implement a multi format employee engagement strategy to create and maintain a high performing and engaged team and environment ensuring areas of focus relate to firm values, strategy and engagement survey findings. Connect employee listening data to other metrics (e.g., turnover, engagement). Collaborate with the People Leadership team to define a consistent approach to our people experience Launch and manage our Employee Forum Work with HR Business Partners and local management on team or department- specific engagement needs Identify what people insights are needed, and how we obtain them (e.g., surveys, onboarding and exit interviews, HR data) Create engagement and pulse surveys to as needed Lead the preparation of regular updates on the outcomes of employee listening exercises for the Exec with recommendations to take action Collate and interpret data to create clear and coherent insights on why people join the business, what engages them, how they are experiencing life in the business, and why they stay or leave. Identify areas for improvement, make recommendations to enhance and manage key deliverables for people data and insights, identifying stakeholders responsible for turning those insights into action plans, stakeholder management, progress updates etc. Report on results as appropriate, upskilling people to complete their analysis and reporting Be the expert and a trusted partner on employee experience, including advice and governance of key principles, approaches, tools, insights, and solutions. Take over the management of the firm's ideas programme, breathing new life into the scheme Create content and resources to support people initiatives and assess the impact on the employee experience. Design and write content for company-wide engagement communications Provide thought leadership and stay abreast of external trends and best practices in employee experience Help identify any relevant technology solutions/engagement platforms to drive the engagement programme Collaborate with the communications team on engagement campaigns, including stakeholder management, communications planning, content creation, and delivery through various channels such as email, video, newsletters, intranet content, and employee town halls. As part of the Human Resourcers team, you would be expected to have the following skills and experience: Established experience in developing and implementing employee experience programmes Strong written communication and interpersonal skills, able to make meaningful connections with a diverse range of audiences Strong record of delivery, project, and operational management experience. Ability to work proactively, independently and juggle multiple tasks at once. Meticulous organisational skills, good judgment of brand and comms risks, and effective time management. Strong ability to analyse insights from employee engagement surveys and other data sources to drive culture forwards and identify areas that need development and/or improvement Some knowledge of HR policies and procedures would be an asset but not essential Ability to work collaboratively with other departments Strong presentation skills Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in employee experience A good understanding of the legal or professional services sectors and their particular dynamics and operating norms especially in a regulated environment.
