Scientist – DMPK & Biophysics | Cambridge | Full-time We’re partnering with an established drug discovery company in Cambridge working at the centre of DMPK (Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics) and biophysical screening. They’re combining cutting-edge non-structural biophysics techniques with a collaborative, data-driven approach to drug discovery. They’re now looking for a Scientist to join their DMPK & Biophysics team. This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on experience with biophysics techniques, data interpretation, and working within an industrial drug discovery environment. What you’ll be doing: Planning and running a wide variety of scientific experiments, with full ownership once assigned Analysing and interpreting experimental data, identifying next steps and future study designs Preparing clear, accurate reports and presenting findings to both internal teams and external collaborators Supporting routine data analysis, troubleshooting, and continuous quality control What they’re looking for: MSc/PhD in a relevant scientific discipline Experience working in an industrial drug discovery or biotech environment Proven ability to analyse, evaluate and draw conclusions from experimental data Practical understanding of DMPK and biophysics techniques (ITC, SPR, etc.) Ideally looking for someone with SPR, Surface Plasma Resinance, running compounds though SPR machine Competent in scientific reporting, literature searches, and electronic data recording Strong attention to detail, effective time management, and clear communication skills This is an excellent opportunity to work within a highly collaborative, expert-led drug discovery team.
