TIG WELDER
Location
Based in the Havant area, near Portsmouth. You may be searching for Fabricating/ Welding jobs in Havant, Portsmouth, Waterlooville, Hampshire, Fareham, Chichester, Petersfield.
Salary
£16.00-£18.00 per hour, plus benefits and incentives, uniform, allowance, canteen facilities, company events, 20 days holiday increasing to 25 days plus bank holidays after completion of a full years service.
Hours
Mon-Fri 39-hour week.
Responsibilities
* Working as part of a close-knit team carrying out precision welding duties, collaborating with the Production Manager and Supervisors, your primary duties will be TIG welding and fabricating of stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel components.
* Able to adhere to operational processes, health and safety guidelines and quality standards.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 2 years previous experience in a Welding role, able to read and interpret blueprints/ engineering drawings.
* A welding related qualification / time-served apprenticeship.
* Able to prepare the materials prior to welding, good levels of competence in the use of metalworking machinery for light steel fabrications.
* Excellent planning and installation skills, and ability to communicate effectively with clients and the rest of the team.
