In your role as a Housekeeping Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes. Every single person who works here understands that our residents are people just like them with their own stories to tell. By joining HC-One, you'll have a wonderful opportunity to give something back to those people.
For you, as a Housekeeping Assistant, that will mean keeping the home clean, hygienic, safe, comfortable, and welcoming. Your attention to detail will ensure the environment reflects your commitment. Whether managing the cleaning rota or actively participating in cleaning tasks, you'll do so with kindness and professionalism.
HC-One is looking for a Housekeeping Assistant with some experience, although we will provide comprehensive training. You should have excellent time management and organizational skills, along with positive energy and a natural ability to get along with people. Strong communication skills, including listening and giving instructions, are essential. Always communicate considerately and kindly with residents and colleagues.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know how to respond appropriately. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and undertake additional training as needed. You should also be able to seek advice and escalate concerns when necessary.
We will provide full training, offering a great opportunity to learn new skills. In return, you'll enjoy a variety of benefits to support your well-being and career development, including:
* Paid Enhanced DBS/PVG
