The role of Administrative Assistant will include:
1. Providing an effective and efficient administration service to internal and external customers, to ensure the provision of services in line with customers' needs, including answering enquiries and providing information by phone, letter or email to ensure queries are resolved.
2. Assisting operational staff and customers in resolving difficult problems.
3. Supporting the maintenance of effective filing systems, financial records, database records, and processes that enable the accurate recording and timely provision of information.
4. Providing quality statistical information on key performance indicators such as satisfaction levels and response times to assist managers in target setting, performance monitoring, and implementing improvements as needed.
Skills and experiences:
* Able to demonstrate a level of numeracy and literacy to the equivalent of GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths.
* Some experience of working in an administrative role or similar.
* Some experience of working to deadlines and prioritising workloads.
* Good communication skills.
* Recent experience in interpreting written instructions and maintaining written records.
* Occasional travel may be a requirement of the role, therefore a full valid driving licence is required.

The full-time equivalent salary for this role is £23,804 based on 37.5 hours per week, rising to £25,057 after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance.
