Purchasing and Stock Controller Liverpool Salary - £26,000 - £28,500 per annum Full time - Monday to Friday, 8:45am - 5pm Contract - 12 month fixed term contract Holidays - 25 days bank holidays birthday off!We are currently hiring for a company based in Liverpool who deal with customers based internationally and are seeking an experienced Purchasing and Stock Controller to join their team. You will be responsible for effectively and accurately monitoring stock levels and maintaining adequate supply to meet customer demand while keeping the cost of holding stock to a minimum. The role is offered on a 12 month fixed term contract as the position is maternity cover. Key Responsibilities of the role: Liaise with other departments and colleagues to ensure that stock is managed and monitored effectively Monitor stock with expiry dates and report findings to the Stock Control and Purchasing Supervisor Answer stock related queries Processing purchase orders and internal orders Receive incoming goods into stock system Reconciling Delivery Notes with Purchase Orders Monthly stock take, reconciliation, and adjustments of stock Analyse sales transactions to calculate stock requirements Contribute to departments process improvements (PDP)Knowledge and skills required: Previous experience as a Purchasing and Stock Controller, Inventory Manager or similar role Good understanding of supply chain procedures Working Knowledge of inventory management software Active participation in inventory audits Excellent organisation skills Good communication skills to deal with people at all levels of the organization Good negotiation skillsBenefits: Competitive salary - Up to £28,500 per annum Immediate start available No weekends Accessible location / free car parking Holidays - 25 days bank holidays birthday off!If you would like to apply for this position please submit your application online or email your CV to Search is an equal opportunities recruiter and we welcome applications from all suitably skilled or qualified applicants, regardless of their race, sex, disability, religion/beliefs, sexual orientation or age
