A well-established and highly regarded family-run construction and Facilities Management business is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their team in a client-facing, site-based role.
This position is best suited to someone who is comfortable working full-time on-site, has a strong estimating background, and understands how to operate within a Facilities Management environment.
🔧 The Role
You will be embedded within a key client’s London office, taking ownership of small works, fabric projects, and FM activities—from initial pricing through to delivery.
This is a hands-on role combining project management, estimating, and day-to-day operational support.
đź’Ľ Key Responsibilities
* Manage and support the fabric team and daily FM operations
* Deliver projects from inception to completion
* Produce estimates, cost plans, and quotations (£2k–£200k)
* Manage works through the helpdesk system and track progress
* Produce and review nightly handovers
* Lead client and internal meetings, presenting progress and data
* Maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders and contractors
* Handle minor onsite issues when required
* Ensure health & safety compliance, including RAMS
* Maintain documentation, trackers, and reporting
* Manage onsite logistics, assets, and consumables
* Interpret drawings and client requirements
* Carry out supplier enquiries and support QS-related duties
🗓️ Daily Focus
* Review night-shift handovers and prepare for client updates
* Maintain consistent client communication (huddles, progress updates, quotes)
* Keep all reporting and trackers accurate and up to date
👤 About You
* Experience in Facilities Management (essential)
* Strong background in estimating / cost planning (essential)
* Proven experience delivering projects within construction or FM
* Comfortable working full-time on-site within a client environment
* Knowledge of fit-out / fabric works and H&S
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Confident using Excel and internal systems
