The Opportunity
Due to continuous company growth and expansion, one of the world's leading manufacturers are now looking for a Technical & After Sales Manager. This person will be responsible for managing the day to day running of the Technical Department and line management/supervision of the Technical Advisors. They will ensure that all quality complaints that occur after the roofing is laid are investigated effectively and dealt with in a timely and cost effective manner liaising with all key stakeholders.
You'll be:
1. Mentoring the wider Technical Services team to help develop technical and organisational knowledge.
2. Providing detailed technical support for a defined flat (incl. other building membranes) or pitched roofing area of expertise and be seen as the department lead for technical support.
3. Ensuring technical questions can be answered for all roofing and other business areas and seek support of experts in other fields where required.
4. Supporting and be responsible for the generation of roof system specifications ensuring all specifications produced are compliant with internal and external standards, and ensure all specifications are logged into internal systems i.e. SpecMaster, CRM etc.
