Programme Lead job spec
We are looking for a Programme Lead to deliver end-to-end on the assigned programme(s), ensuring that objectives are met and the expected benefits and business outcomes are realized. The Programme Lead will lead the Programme's Executive and other Governance Committees with energy and drive; they are empowered to direct the Programme and make decisions.
What we are looking for
1. Delivery
Accountable for the delivery of the assigned programme—providing strategic context, direction, and leadership to the team. Ensures outcomes are achieved with end-to-end accountability for the delivery of changes.
2. Stakeholder & Relationship Management
Champion a customer-centric approach to delivery, understanding and exceeding customer requirements and expectations.
3. Continuous Improvement
Ensure the team identifies areas for improvement and takes ownership of specific issues through to resolution to drive improved performance and achieve targets. Escalate and progress resolution of issues as required.
4. Supplier Management
Manage third-party suppliers as valued partners to deliver agreed targets on a defined group of sites by creating an environment that drives success and secures business targets through reporting and management of key deliverables.
5. Risk, Issue & Dependency Management
Review with the team and proactively surface and record all risks, issues, and dependencies, subsequently managing their mitigation and resolution or escalating those that cannot be solved.
6. Landlord Equipment
With the AS and DM team, ensure that at all times Cornerstone, customers, and third-party suppliers perform all duties with landlords in line with the Cornerstone Landlord engagement policy.
Person Specification
Experience (technical, managerial, industry)
* Significant experience of leading programmes
* Ability to drive cultural change and mindset shift within the organization
* Ability to identify core issues and establish resolutions and new ways of working
* Experience of managing relationships with senior stakeholders, internal and external, on a day-to-day basis
Skills / Knowledge
* High EQ associated with influencing and stakeholder management skills at varying levels and across matrix organizations
* Proven coaching and mentoring experience
* Excellent presentation skills, including the ability to write reports and analytical skills
* Clear and concise communication skills within Cornerstone and externally with third-party suppliers and stakeholders
* Strong planning and organizational ability in delivering business results
