We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to provide high-quality care to individuals in our 18 bed home in Deal. The ideal candidate will have experience in patient care and a genuine passion for enhancing the quality of life for individuals with mental health needs. The Role
We are looking for a Night Wake Support Worker to join our team. You will be a calm, reliable presence throughout the night, ensuring the safety and comfort of our residents. This role is essential in maintaining a consistent, therapeutic environment where residents feel supported at all times.
Your duties will include:
* Staying awake and alert throughout the night to safeguard residents.
* Providing emotional reassurance and practical support as needed.
* Carrying out regular checks and maintaining accurate records.
* Responding promptly to any incidents or emergencies.
* Supporting morning routines to ensure a smooth handover to day staff.
* Light domestic tasks to help keep the home welcoming and comfortable.
About You

* Comfortable working alone at night but also a strong team player.
* Reliable, with good attention to detail.
Experience in mental health or social care is desirable, but we provide full training for the right candidate.

Requirements
* Previous experience in caregiving or support work is preferred, particularly in
* Knowledge of first aid and basic nursing skills is advantageous.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
* Patience, empathy, and a strong desire to help others are essential qualities for this role.
