Contract: Permanent, Full-time (37.5 hours per week) Monday to Friday

Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum
As Associate Director of Nursing at Medigold Health, you will play a key strategic and clinical leadership role, overseeing the quality and consistency of our nursing services and supporting the continued growth and development of our Occupational Health function.
You’ll be responsible for leading and shaping our national team of Occupational Health Nurses, ensuring high standards of clinical care, service delivery, and professional development across the board. Working closely with internal teams and external clients, you’ll drive continuous improvement, lead on the implementation of new policies and procedures, and act as a senior clinical voice in key decision-making forums.
Drawing on your leadership experience and clinical expertise, you’ll support recruitment activity, oversee CPD and revalidation processes, and provide mentorship to Nurse Managers. You’ll also represent Medigold Health at tender presentations, client reviews, and service development meetings, helping us build long-term partnerships and adapt our offering to meet evolving client needs.

Main Objectives
* Practice within the scope of the NMC professional practice and Code of Conduct and to work according to qualification, experience and competency.
* To maintain the quality and resource within the Occupational Health Nurse team ensuring consistent standard of service are delivered to all the Medigold Health client base.
* Active participation and flexibility to support recruitment activity for all nursing teams.
* Monitoring and supervising the delivery of the Occupational Health Service to Medigold clients ensuring the provision of the occupational health advice is of the highest standard at all times.
* To act as an ambassador and promote the Occupational Health services available.
* To ensure clinical standards of best practice are followed and company policies and procedures are adhered to.
* To fully utilise company IT systems in the performance of duties.
* Support clinical supervision/peer and team audit in relation to service delivery as identified.
* Undertake second stage investigation and respond to queries and complaints in accordance with Company Policy.
Specific Responsibilities
* Represent the clinical element in strategic development and business improvement
* Encouraging collaborative relationships with other business areas to support continuous improvement and team building.
* Work closely with clients to develop, improve and enhance service delivery to support the health needs of their workforce.
* Work autonomously and as part of the Medigold Health multi-disciplinary team to ensure that a satisfactory level of service is provided to all clients and their employees achieving current service level agreements.
* Ensure own skills and competencies are maintained to undertake core Occupational Health activities as required.
* Oversee the provision and delivery of CPD and other training requirements to ensure compliance with NMC registration and revalidation.
* Maintain, store, and handle medical records in accordance with Medigold-Health Data Protection Policy and GDPR requirements in order to preserve and respect client and employee medical confidentiality.
* Undertake interviews, inductions, training, and appraisals for team managers to support continual professional development.
* Attend tender presentations, client implementation and review meetings as required.
* Advise and assist clients with any enquiries regarding Medigold products, services, or procedures.
* Where relevant and required undertake clinics at various locations throughout the region and provide Occupational Health advice to Medigold’s clients.
* Develop, update and implement clinical procedures, policies and standards in line with relevant legislation.
* Attend all relevant in-house meetings as required.
Requirements For This Role
* Occupational Health qualification & NMC registration is essential.
* Previous demonstrable people management experience.
* Experience of participating in specific projects to improve / enhance work related health.
