Role Overview
We have an exciting opportunity in the Whitchurch-Market Drayton area for an Assistant Service Manager who shares Bethphage's values.
The role involves supporting adults with learning disabilities and Autism, promoting independence, and facilitating community participation in activities, leisure, education, and employment in a person-centered approach.
You will assist the Service Manager in managing three supported living services providing 24-hour care and four outreach services, ensuring high-quality support and development of independence for individuals.
Candidate Profile
Ideal candidates will be experienced health and social care workers, excellent communicators, able to network, and knowledgeable about the sector. Confidence, IT skills, and experience with person-centered and positive behavior support are essential.
Applicants without a Level 3 qualification will be considered if willing to work towards it. Supervisory experience and knowledge in learning disabilities are preferred.
Additional Requirements
* Valid UK manual driving license and own vehicle
* Level 3 in Health and Social Care or working towards
* Understanding of Person-Centered thinking and planning
* Good communication, literacy, and IT skills
* Experience with people with Learning Disabilities and Autism
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Supervisory experience
* Understanding of Positive Behaviour Support

Additional Information
The role involves a 4-day off rota and 1 support shift day, with possible evening and weekend work. You will be required to participate in the Bethphage on-call rota.
