POSITION SUMMARY
This role supervises a Production Team engaged in one or more production activities, such as colour & retouching, assembly, production art or quality control. The Supvr – Production partners with the Project Coordination team to ensure projects remain on schedule and on budget. This position manages and makes adjustments to schedules, workloads, and resourcing as needed to ensure deadlines are met and the optimal performance of the team. The Supvr – Production is responsible for resolving the most complex production problems using strong technical expertise and a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Team Leadership & Development
Lead, supervise, and mentor staff to ensure optimal performance, alignment with business objectives, and adherence to company standards.
Performance Management
Monitor individual and team performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Operational Oversight
Manage day-to-day production activities including logistics coordination, order fulfilment, and responding to client requirements to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
Administrative Management
Oversee recruitment processes, conduct performance reviews, and manage general office operations to support a well-functioning workplace.
Cost Efficiency & Process Improvement
Analyse operational workflows to identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining service quality and operational effectiveness.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s Degree in Production or related field
• Previous managing production teams experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Occasional) travel either locally, nationally, and/or internationally may be required
• High/Basic degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications.
• Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning).
• Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts.
• Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients.
• Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
• Ability to work with and influence peers and management.
