We’re looking for a Service & Parts Advisor to lead and elevate our client’s parts department during an exciting period of growth. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and is ready to take the reins in a role that’s as varied as it is vital.
This role is perfect for someone with a background in service and parts who wants to be at the heart of machinery repairs, customer support, and operational excellence.
What you’ll be doing:
* Taking full ownership of the parts department, refining processes and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
* Handling all customer parts enquiries – whether it’s finding the right component, advising on replacements, or supporting warranty claims.
* Supporting the service team with repairs, helping source and dispatch parts quickly for breakdowns and scheduled maintenance.
* Processing and packing orders – locating, picking, and shipping parts accurately and efficiently.
* Managing parts inventory – overseeing stock levels, reordering, and keeping things running like clockwork.
* Providing front-line customer support, whether it’s over the phone, by email, or face-to-face.
* Maintaining goods-in processes, checking deliveries, and ensuring the right parts are in the right place at the right time.
What we’re looking for:
* Strong experience in parts or stores administration – someone who understands how to keep things moving.
* Great communication skills, both with customers and internal teams.
* The ability to multitask and stay cool under pressure in a busy service environment.
* A proactive, hands-on attitude – you don’t wait for things to happen, you make them happen.
* Confidence in using IT systems to manage orders, inventory, and reporting.
* Familiarity with engineering, machinery, manufacturing, or agricultural sectors is a bonus – but not a dealbreaker.
