Package: £75,000 - 90,000 + 10% bonus + 10% shares + benefits.

About the role
As a Senior AWS Platform Engineer and Cloud Consultant, you will guide customers on their journey to Cloud and DevOps maturity. Leveraging your expertise in cloud technologies and best practices, you will architect, implement, and optimise tailored solutions while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to drive innovation and deliver exceptional value.
Interview process – 4 stages
* Discovery conversation with Talent Acquisition.
* Paired Technical Assessment with Engineering.
* Technical deep‑dive interview with Practice Leadership.
* Competency‑focused final interview with Engineering Leadership.
Important – Security Clearance
* Hold active SC or be eligible for SC.
* British Passport or ILR.
* Have resided in the UK for at least the last 5 years.
* No criminal records.
* No financial irregularities.
Requirements & Skills
* Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment practices.
* Collaboration with people at all technical levels.
* Understanding of industry best practices.
* Project management experience.
* Excellent people skills and ability to motivate a team.
* Platform Engineering – designing scalable, resilient and secure cloud platforms.
* Automation – IaC practices, Terraform, Ansible, scripting (Python/Ruby).
* Container orchestration – Kubernetes, EKS/AKS/GKE.
* Public cloud expertise – AWS, Azure, GCP.
* DevOps practices – CI/CD pipelines, version control and containerisation.
* Networking – secure, scalable AWS network architectures (VPC, VPN, Transit Gateway).
Experience
* Project leadership delivering cloud migration, optimisation or transformation projects.
* Client‑facing experience delivering solutions that exceed expectations.
* Team collaboration across cross‑functional teams.
* Continuous learning and professional development, including certifications.
Qualifications
* AWS Cloud Practitioner or higher (Solutions Architect Associate/Professional).
* Kubernetes administration certification (CKA/CKSS).
