Experience in a customer-facing environment would be a real advantage Job Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and creative Marketing Manager to develop and execute marketing strategies that drive customer engagement, sales, and brand loyalty. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital and traditional marketing, with a passion for the gardening industry and retail sector. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy to promote products, services, and seasonal offers. Manage digital marketing campaigns, including social media, email marketing, website content, and online advertising. Create engaging content for social media platforms, newsletters, and promotional materials. Plan and oversee in-store events, workshops, and seasonal promotions to increase foot traffic and customer engagement. Conduct market research and analyse customer data to identify trends and opportunities. Collaborate with suppliers and partners to enhance brand presence and promotional efforts. Develop and maintain relationships with local media, influencers, and community organisations. Monitor marketing budgets, ensuring cost-effective strategies and ROI measurement. Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate marketing effectiveness. Skills & Qualifications: Ideally a Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Proven experience in a marketing role, preferably within the retail or horticulture industry. Strong knowledge of digital marketing, including social media, SEO, and PPC advertising. Excellent communication and content creation skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment. Experience in event planning and customer engagement strategies. Proficiency in marketing tools such as Google Analytics, email marketing platforms, and design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite). Passion for gardening, plants, and outdoor living is a plus.
