Department Overview: The Marketing and Communications department enhances awareness and desirability of Aston Martin’s brand and products on a global scale. It drives demand and builds enduring relationships with customers to position Aston Martin as a top-of-mind luxury choice. Job Purpose: As a core member of the CRM Performance and Analytics Team, this role is responsible for driving best-in-class customer data quality within Salesforce and leading the management and analysis of Special cars data. The role also champions the use of data science to deliver actionable insights that guide marketing strategy, enhance customer engagement, and improve commercial outcomes. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Lead Aston Martin’s drive for best-in-class customer data by implementing robust data quality and governance initiatives across internal teams, regional markets, and the dealer network. Monitor and report on CRM performance across global, regions and dealers. Deliver actionable insight through regular reporting and analytics of key metrics to identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvement. Manage and continually refine the qualification and allocation process for Special cars, improving connected data processes and ensuring alignment with business goals. Analyse data from various sources to uncover trends and opportunities. Use data science to create and present cross-functional insights that inform marketing, sales, product, and regional planning strategies. Collaborate with marketing teams to define and provide high-value target audiences based on behavioural, transactional, and lifecycle data. Act as the primary point of contact for Aston Martin’s data science agency. Set direction, manage priorities, and oversee agency activities across both data quality and advanced analytics projects. Own and manage the Customer Cockpit, ensuring data accuracy and usability. Collaborate with regional stakeholders and Customer Data Services (CDS) to continuously optimise its functionality. Work closely with internal stakeholders across CRM, Sales, Marketing, IT, and Finance to ensure data strategies are aligned and support commercial goals. Experience and Qualifications: Essential: Significant experience in CRM analytics, operations or data science roles, preferably within a fast-paced or luxury environment. Hands-on experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, including reporting, data governance, and system administration. Proven ability to drive data quality initiatives and implement governance standards. Strong analytical capability and experience delivering strategic insights from complex data sets. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience managing third-party agency relationships, with the ability to set direction and ensure delivery. Familiarity with the automotive industry and customer lifecycle trends is a plus. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
