Who you are

* Start-up experience
* Technology related sales or business development experience
* Ability to build and deliver against a plan for your territory which meets or exceeds revenue targets
* Cloud related sales or business development experience
* AWS certifications (or equivalent)
* Cross functional selling experience (Architect, Sales Engineer, Professional Services, Partner, and ISV)


What the job involves

* As a Startup Central Sales Account Executive, you will help drive the growth of early stage and mature Startups, servicing their unique needs, engaging with Founders, CxOs, Board of Directors and VC influencers, and teaming with business development, marketing, solution architecture and partner teams to lead execution of coordinated go-to-market strategies
* Your customers are building, launching, and iterating the next generation of high impact products which will change the daily lives of our planet in ways both big and small, and you will be part of these journeys
* You deliver business outcomes while guiding them to become more agile, innovative, and efficient
* With AWS, our customers benefit from the fastest pace of innovation, the broadest and deepest functionality, the most secure computing environment, and the most proven operational expertise
* AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector
* The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success
* AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services
* Ensure customer satisfaction
* Meet or exceed revenue and goal targets in a defined territory
* Develop and execute a comprehensive account/territory plan to manage and grow numerous accounts concurrently
* Create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services
* Accelerate customer adoption
* Maintain a robust sales pipeline
* Work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption
* A day in the life:
* In this role, you will also establish Amazon Web Services as the key cloud technology provider across the companies you manage, promoting the entire AWS products and services portfolio to Startups Customers
* You will be at the heart of latest trends like artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), serverless and IoT, helping your customers to leverage state-of-the-art technologies on AWS to innovate and become the next disrupters, like today's AirBnB, Slack, DoorDash, and Lyft
* About the team:
* The Startup Central Sales focus on acquiring new customers and accelerating AWS adoption of existing customers
* We deliver targeted customer experience throughout their AWS journey by being trusted advisors in our customers industries
* Underpinned by a Learn and Be Curious culture, we are agile in looking for specific initiatives that can be programmatically repeated to accelerate similar groups of prospects/customers at scale
* Working backwards from the customer, we use end-to-end data and analytics to make real-time decisions, experiment with new concepts and respond to trends to innovate on behalf of our customers
