Job Description: Senior Full Stack Developer at everyLIFE
The Senior Full Stack Developer at everyLIFE Technologies will come with 5+ years of experience in commercial full stack development. They will be passionate not just about writing code but contributing to a project which makes a difference. This role will involve joining an existing team of 5 engineers, including backend, frontend and full-stack developers.

everyLIFE is a ten-year-old, fast-growth SaaS provider primarily to the UK social care market. You will:
* Design, develop, test and deliver well engineered code, collaborating with Product to ensure that we are releasing value early and often
* Work closely with the existing team – reviewing code, discussing solutions and being involved in refinement sessions
* Drive continuous improvement through code reviews, system design to ensure that all code is clean, consistent and secure
* Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of development languages, frameworks, tools and design patterns
* Promptly escalate issues that affect product delivery and quality
* Maintain and manage our Continuous Integration and Delivery pipelines and tooling
* Have a passion to learn and continually improve
* Provide on-call 24/7 rota for the server team apps and meet agreed SLAs for MTTR
You have:
* 5+ years' experience of commercial full stack development
* You write clean, testable code and expect others to do the same
* You have excellent problem-solving skills
* Good understanding of asynchronous programming
* You take ownership and responsibility for your work
* Strong knowledge of NodeJS and have experience building/maintaining a Node backend
* Strong knowledge of Typescript or another typed programming language
* Good React knowledge
* Good understanding of MySQL or a similar relational database
* Experience using Elasticsearch or a similar NoSQL database
* Experience working with messaging systems / pub-sub
* Experience writing automated tests
* Awareness and passion for working in an agile environment
* Experience of modern web and server-side RESTful development
* Experience with Git
* Experience of developer testing approaches
* Experience of build and Continuous Integration pipelines and tools
* Experience of TDD and BDD
You may have:
* Knowledge of NestJS framework
* Experience working with an ORM
* Knowledge of Scala and functional programming
* Knowledge of AWS services and infrastructure monitoring
* Experience working with AWS Lambda functions
* Experience working with microservices / micro frontends
* Experience working with Docker / ECS
* Experience with Netty and Akka or other non-blocking, multi-threaded IO libraries
* Experience working with Jenkins/Bitbucket Pipelines
* Experience in deployment and maintenance of Linux based servers
