Finance Manager
Office-Based | Full-Time (9am–5pm)
My client is seeking a hands-on and experienced Finance Manager to join their dynamic and friendly team. This is a pivotal role in a growing business, offering variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to make a real impact. You’ll be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations and ensuring the smooth running of all finance-related activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform bank reconciliations and manage cashiering duties
* Process payments, including subcontractor payments and supplier invoices
* Manage company credit cards and staff expenses
* Handle payroll and ensure compliance with CIS (Construction Industry Scheme)
* Complete CIS reconciliations and VAT returns
* Maintain accounts receivable/payable and oversee credit control
* Prepare accounts up to trial balance for external accountants
* Use Xero for all accounting functions
What they're Looking For
* 2–3 years’ experience in a similar finance role
* Strong knowledge of CIS and VAT
* Proficient in Xero
* Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
* A proactive team player who enjoys a fun, supportive work environment
* Must be able to drive and be in the office every day
