Interim / Temporary?? Equivalent salary: £45,000 (pro rata)? Start: ASAPThe RoleWe are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our client on an interim basis, based in Solihull (fully onsite, 5 days per week) .
This is a hands-on role requiring someone who can hit the ground running and provide immediate support across core finance operations.You'll take ownership of the day-to-day finance function while managing a small team and ensuring accurate, timely reporting.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily finance operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiencyFull responsibility for month-end close, including journals, accruals and prepaymentsProduce and review management accountsManage cash flow, reconciliations and balance sheet integritySupport budgeting and forecasting processesEnsure compliance with financial controls and company proceduresLiaise with senior stakeholders, providing clear financial insightAssist with process improvements and system efficiencies where neededTeam ManagementDirect line management of 2 finance team membersProvide guidance, support and performance oversightEnsure workloads and deadlines are effectively managedCandidate ProfileProven experience in a Finance Manager or Senior Accountant roleStrong technical accounting knowledgeComfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environmentPrevious experience managing staffExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsSkills & SystemsSage experience is highly desirableStrong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, etc.)Ability to work independently with minimal supervisionAdditional InformationImmediate start requiredFully office-based roleRobert Walters Operations Limited is an employment business and employment agency and welcomes applications from all candidatesTPBN1_UKTJ
