About Our Nursery

Glasgow Oakwood, with a capacity of 172 and situated three miles south of the city, is made up of two buildings; Oak Cottage is a purpose‑built facility for children aged 0 to 3, designed to support children at each age and stage of their development, and the Pre‑School Centre, housed in a large Victorian villa and is home to children aged 3‑5 to challenge children and prepare them for school. Oakwood nursery also provides after‑school care for children aged 5 to 12 years old. The rooms are bright, airy and alluring. The garden is spacious and exciting, developing children’s confidence, self‑esteem and physical skills, allowing children to expand their love of the outdoors. The team have worked hard to create an environment which facilitates a high standard of care and education, through high‑quality learning experiences which ensure children are eager learners fully equipped for their school adventures.
