About the role: This is an operational position responsible for the full procurement process, from processing orders to receipting goods in our warehouse and preparing them for our engineering team to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare and process purchase orders, track deliveries, and resolve issues.
* Communicate with suppliers, obtain quotes, negotiate prices, arrange samples, and source new suppliers.
* Conduct regular stock checks, reconcile discrepancies, and process returns for faulty or unwanted items, ensuring timely processing.
* Assist in managing inventory levels to maintain adequate supplies in the warehouse and engineering van stock.
* Monitor budgets, compare prices, and support cost-saving initiatives.
* Generate and analyze procurement reports to track performance and identify improvement areas.
The successful candidate will have:
* The ability to work well within a team environment.
* Strong IT skills, including proficiency in all Microsoft applications.
