Oakhyrst Grange School, are looking to appoint a Headteacher's PA and Head of Admissions (including SCR Lead)
Oakhyrst Grange is a small, co-educational independent preparatory school in Caterham. Within the extensive grounds surrounding Oakhyrst Grange School there are a range of educational, recreational and sporting facilities. Our sporting facilities include Multi-Use Games Area used for netball, hockey, cricket and tennis, Cross Country Course, Athletics Area, Heated Indoor Swimming Pool, Purpose-built Sports Hall (also used for school plays, productions and daily assemblies) Our extensive grounds including a woodland area also offer opportunities for Forest schools and outdoor science and nature lessons.
Oakhyrst Grange School also offers all year round play with our all-weather playground with play equipment. The School facilities are amongst the very best of any independent preparatory school, both indoors and outdoors.

1. This is a replacement position within the school effective from February 2026
2. Age range ~ 3 to 11 years.
3. Responsible to the Head Teacher and Board of Governors.
Specific Duties:
4. •To support the Headteacher through a high-quality, efficient and confidential PA service.
5. •To lead and manage the Admissions process from initial enquiry through to enrolment.
6. •To act as the Lead for the Single Central Register (SCR), ensuring full compliance with safer recruitment requirements.
7. •To maintain positive communication and liaison between staff, parents, pupils, visitors and external agencies.
8. •To ensure all matters relating to finance, buildings, health & safety or ancillary staff are passed to the Bursar as appropriate.
