Job Description
* Work with the Head of Supply Chain to develop and implement inventory planning strategies to optimize stock levels and reduce excess inventory.* Drive robust demand forecasting processes to ensure accurate predictions of customer needs, reducing shortages and excess stock.* Lead the analysis of historical data, market trends, and business intelligence to improve forecasting accuracy.* Implement advanced forecasting models, including statistical analysis to refine demand predictions.* Establish and manage an S&OP process, ensuring alignment between sales, operations, and financial planning.* Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between sales, marketing, finance, production, and supply chain teams to enhance forecasting accuracy.* Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to forecast accuracy, inventory turnover, and supply chain efficiency.* Identify risks associated with demand variability and develop mitigation strategies to enhance responsiveness.* Implement tools and best practices to enhance cross-border supply chain scalability.* Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies regarding inventory control and forecasting.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Demand Planner should have:
3. Proven experience in demand planning.
4. Proficiency in demand planning tools and software, high level of proficiency in Excel required.
5. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
6. Strong analytical skills with expertise in forecasting tools, statistical modelling, and inventory management systems.
