We have an excellent opportunity for a compassionate and experienced Registered Manager to lead a brand-new trauma-informed therapeutic children’s service in Stafford. This home-from-home service will provide a safe, supportive environment for up to 4 children, where they can feel valued, flourish, and build lasting connections. This is a rare chance to create and shape a new service from the ground up, making a real difference in the lives of vulnerable young people.
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
Position: Registered Manager
Hours: 40 per week, Monday–Friday, with on-call responsibilities
Setting: Trauma-informed therapeutic children’s residential service
Location: Stafford
12 months Fixed Term Contract
Your key responsibilities will be:

Lead and manage the launch of a new therapeutic service
*
Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and best practices
*
Implement trauma-informed approaches, including PACE
*
Oversee assessments and personalised care plans
*
Recruit, train, and develop a skilled, compassionate team
*
Foster a positive and supportive team culture
*
Promote a nurturing family-style environment for children
For this role, we’re looking for someone who has:
*
Level 5 qualification in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare
*
Experience in trauma-informed care settings
*
Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and children’s residential care
*
Passion for child-focused, nurturing care
*
Excellent leadership and team management skills
