Project Engineer Location: Site-Based – Swansea Duration: 1 Month (Immediate Requirement) Purpose of the Role Working alongside the Project Manager / Project Director and wider project team, you will support the successful delivery of projects across all phases including planning, design, construction, commissioning and handover. You will: Develop and formalise engineered delivery solutions Brief solutions clearly to operational teams Lead and manage delivery through strong supervision and leadership Ensure compliance with customer and project requirements across time, cost, quality and safety Support and care for the workforce delivering the works Key Accountabilities Governance Lead and attend project reviews and meetings Maintain accurate project records (progress reports, diaries, documentation) Prepare internal and external reports Maintain awareness of the Digital Briefcase Personal Qualities & Experience (Required) We are seeking an organised, innovative and proactive Project Engineer with: Experience delivering engineering or construction projects Strong commercial and project management communication skills Experience implementing safe systems of work Ability to manage risk and change through solution-focused problem solving Strong interpersonal and influencing skills Confidence communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders Commitment to diversity and inclusion Demonstrated resilience and determination Experience developing junior team members Proficiency in O365 Company information At First Recruitment Group we understand just how important it is to secure the right people.
