We're on the lookout for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our client's team in Swanley! As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth financial operations of the company. Role: Accounts Assistant
Term: Temp
Start: ASAP
Location: Swanley (free parking/10 minute walk from station)
Pay: £14.00 - £16.50 per hour / £27K - £32K
Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm / 9:00am - 5:00pm (37.5 hours per week)
Your Responsibilities:
Process sales invoices accurately and promptly, approx 50 per day
Maintain the sales ledger and ensure all entries are up-to-date
Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies
Assist with month-end closing processes
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless financial operations
Provide excellent customer service and support to clients
What We're Looking For:
Previous experience in an Accounts role
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Proficient in using accounting software, in particular Quickbooks
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
A positive attitude and a willingness to learn!
