Pay: From £18.00 per hour. Job Description: Hands‑On Workshop Manager
HGV & Plant Port Talbot, South Wales. Starting at £18.00 per hour (with overtime) depending on experience. 40 hours per week. Flexible hours. Time and a half overtime. Permanent, Full Time. We are looking for a hands‑on Workshop Manager to run our Port Talbot workshop.

Responsibilities
* Day‑to‑day management of a busy workshop
* Hands‑on involvement in servicing, maintenance and repairs
* Lead, support and organise vehicle technicians
* Ensure all HGV servicing, maintenance and MOT standards are met
* Maintain DVSA compliance and strong safety standards
* Oversee plant and specialist equipment maintenance
* Control job flow, inspections and maintenance records
* Work closely with Operations Management and our wider maintenance teams
* Cover breakdown duties as required
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a hands‑on workshop manager, foreman or senior technician
* Strong knowledge of HGV compliance, servicing and MOT prep
* Experience working with plant and specialist equipment including agricultural
* Confident supervising people while remaining practical
* Organised, safety‑focused and standards‑driven
