POLICY & ADVOCACY MANAGER – EDINBURGH
PART TIME (2/3 days per week)
£240pd – INSIDE IR35
7 MONTHS INITIAL CONTRACT
Loriens Public Sector client requires the expertise of an experienced Policy & Advocacy Manager for an initial 7 month contract.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Conducting a desk-based literature review of the evidence regarding services available to consumers in Scotland
* Identifying priority consumer issues in relation to access to public goods and services based on the above review
* Identifying the key levers, options and opportunities for tackling these issues
* Providing suggestions surrounding to approach future work including a suggested programme of future policy and advocacy work to address the issues identified above
* Producing a report, of publishable quality, outlining the issues affecting consumers in relation to public services with initial recommendations for action to address these issues
Essential Skills / Experience
1. A track record of leading advocacy and policy work
2. Experience in conducting desk based research and producing literature reviews and other evidence-based outputs
