About the role
We are looking for an experienced frontend engineer to help accelerate the incremental migration of our monolithic AngularJS frontend to Next.js (with React server and client components).
This is a six-month fixed-term contract role within the Cezanne Recruitment development team, working remotely across the UK.
Skills and experience valued in the role
The ideal candidate will:
1. Have at least 5 years of frontend development experience including at least 3 years of commercial experience developing secure, performant and resilient React frontends
2. Have a solid understanding of best practices for designing and building React applications with Server-Side Rendering or React Server Components
3. Take pride in writing high-quality, maintainable and well tested code
4. Enjoy working collaboratively as part of small team of two or three engineers
5. Proactively share their expertise, and help colleagues develop their own expertise in the technology
